Love, Hate and Indifference
In the tapestry of life, you once did shine,
A vision of beauty, a radiant design,
With a smile that outshone the morning sun,
You brought me joy, and I was undone.
But now, the embers of love have grown cold,
The story of us, it's a tale often told,
You shattered my heart, left it broken and scarred,
In the ruins of us, it was anguish that marred.
I once harbored anger, resentment so deep,
For the wounds you inflicted, the pain ran so steep,
But hatred has softened, like the setting sun's fire,
And in indifference's realm, I now desire.
I tried to forget you, to let go and move on,
To erase all the memories that you were drawn,
But you lingered in shadows, a haunting refrain,
In the corners of my mind, you'd resurface again.
I'm left with a question, a riddle, a quest,
How to define feelings that once were the best?
Do I still yearn for you, or have I set free?
What do I want from you, what is it I see?
Amidst love, hate, indifference, I stand,
A complex web of emotions, hard to understand,
With each passing day, I search for a clue,
Why am I like this, what should I do?
The heart's a mystery, a puzzle, a maze,
In the realm of emotions, it's where we get lost,
In love, hate, indifference, we're caught in a daze,
As we seek to untangle the lines that we've crossed.
