# My imaginary Girlfriend

In the darkness of my mind, 

I find solace in her light. 

She's a figment of my imagination, 

But she helps me through the night.

When the weight of the world 

Seems too heavy to bear, 

She holds me in her arms 

And whispers, "I'm here."

With her by my side, 

I can face another day.

 She may not be real, 

But she takes my pain away.

My imaginary girlfriend, 

A figment of my mind, 

She fills a void inside me 

That nothing else can find.

I pour my heart and soul into her, 

And in return, she gives me hope. 

But the hope is fleeting, 

As she is not real, but a coping mechanism.

I know that she can't love me back, 

But still, I hold onto the dream. 

Of what could be, if only she were real, 

And not just a fantasy.

I long for the comfort of her embrace, 

And the sound of her sweet voice. 

But all I have are memories, 

And the pain of this choice.

To love an imaginary being, 

Is to love a mirage in the desert sand. 

It's a never-ending cycle of longing, 

And a life lived in solitude and reprimand.
